This beautiful, large natural pond in Grappenhall, Warrington was expertly completed in 2024 by our specialist pond building team — a perfect example of how teamwork can bring a garden vision to life.

The groundwork was prepared by the customer’s own landscapers, who did a fantastic job digging out the pond area ahead of our arrival. Once on site, the skilled team at Ponds Northwest took over, installing a high-quality rubber liner and crafting a beautifully natural finish using York rockery stone and river gravel.

To keep the water clear and healthy, we added an intake bay for biological filtration, which also works as a skimmer to remove leaves and surface debris. For extra filtration, we fitted two large pressure filters with UV – ensuring the pond stays crystal clear.

The planting around the pond was completed by the landscapers, adding the perfect finishing touches and enhancing the pond’s natural, tranquil setting.
