Georgeous eco-scaped pond in Bury (Greenmount)
In 2022, Ponds Northwest completed this stunning, fully eco-scaped pond in Greenmount, Bury.
We began with a completely blank canvas and transformed a section of the garden into a peaceful, natural haven. The design features a beautifully crafted pond, complete with a stream and a cascading waterfall.
To give it a truly natural look, we used a tough rubber liner, which we then covered with York rockery stone and river gravel. This creates the feel of a real riverbed.
The stream winds gently through the space, and the waterfall adds the soothing sound of flowing water.
What’s more, this pond is known as an eco-pond so it is entirely self-sustaining. There’s no filtration system, just an intake bay that acts as a skimmer, along with a pump to keep the stream and waterfall running smoothly.
