In 2024, Ponds Northwest completed a stunning raised contemporary pond project in Denton, Manchester. The client had an existing ground-level pond, which we completely removed to make way for a brand-new, modern raised pond with a striking viewing window, creating a stunning focal point for their outdoor space.

The new pond build in Denton holds an impressive 4,000 gallons of water and reaches a depth of 5 feet, providing ample space for fish to thrive. For the exterior, the client carefully selected a high-quality brickwork finish, ensuring the pond blended seamlessly with the existing garden aesthetic.

Internally, we applied a durable fibreglass lining, a popular choice for its strength, longevity, and ease of maintenance. Additionally, a bottom drain was installed to optimise water circulation and debris removal, further enhancing water quality.

To maintain crystal-clear water and a healthy ecosystem, we fitted the pond with a state-of-the-art filtration system, including a Nexus 320 combined with a 24-inch Evolution Aqua K+ Bead filter. This advanced setup ensures optimal water clarity and supports the well-being of the fish.
