A 2000 Gallon pond we built in Culcheth, warrington. It was designed by me to suit the customers garden. We constructed the complete koi pond.
The hole was excavating for the pond and filter system to the required depths. The dig on this was great as it was only 2ft deep and the ground was dry. We fitted the bottom drain and pipework that will feed the filter round the back of the customers shed, so the filter was out of site. Following this a concrete base was laid in the bottom and around the newly installed drain. The block walls where then constructed.
The pond was then rendered and fibreglassed in black. We are fully trained and experienced fibreglassers and can fibreglass any shape or size pond or water feature.
We fitted a sieve onto the 4” drain and this feed a econobead and cockney koi UV’s all piped using solvent pipe, fittings and valves. Water clarity is as amazing now as it has been since it was first built. The outside of the pond is cladded in split face slate tiles and the coping stones are slate tiles.
We then constructed the pergola and laid an Indian sandstone path around the edge.
The customer purchased all or most of his koi from cascade koi and aquatics and has some lovely Isreali koi, The customer says they settled very quickly and to date there has been no issues with the pond or the koi and the customer is very happy.
